Please read the following, if there is something you then need to discuss please do so, we will do our best to be flexible and support your needs.

Terms of Booking & Booking Deposit
By placing a booking with Fir Tree Bed & Breakfast at Galvelbeg House, you (the lead guest) and your booking party agree to the following terms and conditions as set-out below. If you have any questions about booking with us, please contact us (before making a booking).

Booking Process.
To secure a booking we require a deposit to be paid, this deposit amount is the cost of one-night stay, per allocated room.
The full balance must be paid on arrival at Fir Tree B&B.
Payments can be made online / over the phone using debit / credit card as well as by digital bank transfer.

Guests check-in and check-out by the times stated below:

Check-in by: 4:00pm and before 7:00pm on day of arrival

Check-out by: 10:00am on day of departure

Luggage storage is available.
The maximum number of staying guests per room is illustrated in the room occupancy details on the website.

Cancellation, Returned Deposit & Non-Arrival Conditions
If circumstance require a booking to be cancelled, the lead guest should contact us by telephone 07849 693960 or email info@galvelbeghouse.co.uk as soon as possible. We will try to be supportive where possible, but must also limit the financial impact on our small business by applying these conditions:
Reservation of one room

Cancellation made 30 days or more in advance of arrival date = Full deposit paid refund.

Cancellation made less than 30 of arrival date = Deposits already paid are non-refundable / Cost of first night of the total booking will be due immediately.

Reservation of two or more rooms OR Galvelbeg Self Catering Apartment

Cancellation made 60 days or more in advance of arrival date = Full deposit paid refund.

Cancellation made less than 60 days in advance of arrival date = Deposits already paid are non-refundable / Cost of first night of the total booking will be due immediately.

Non-arrival guests, who are unable to attend or fail to attend for whatever reason forfeit their deposit paid / cost of first night of the total booking will be due on the arrival date.​

In the rare event we need to cancel your booking with us, please be aware that we cannot be held liable for circumstances beyond our control and that our liability to you is limited to the refund of any payment already made.

It is suggested that booking guests take out appropriate holiday / cancellation insurance where required.

Coronavirus Guidance & Restrictions
​
The following Coronavirus guidance and restrictions are in place at this accommodation, in accordance with the current national and local Government guidance. Allergens and Food Intolerance
Guests are asked to make their hosts aware of any allergens or food intolerances of their guest party before their arrival date, where possible, or on arrival. Allergen and food intolerance information is provided in the Welcome folder in each bedroom and displayed on the dining room wall. If guests require further information about food ingredients, they should ask their hosts on arrival.

Smoking
Smoking of any tobacco products including, but not limited to cigarettes, pipes, e-cigarettes, e-liquids, cigars, snuff or chewing tobacco, is only allowed in designated areas in the accommodation grounds and is in accordance with the Health Act 2006.

Pets & Service Dogs
We do not accept pets throughout the accommodation, except for service dogs.
​
Parking
On-site, off road parking is available at the rear of the property. Guests accept that they park their vehicles at their own risk.

Damages & Lost Property
While we accept that minor damage and wear and tear is inevitable in a B&B, we reserve the right to charge the lead guest for any substantial damages caused through the course of a booking by any member of the booking party. This includes breakages, spillages, stains, damage to furniture or fittings.
Any damages should be reported as soon as possible to minimise inconvenience to guests and allow fast resolution of the problem.
Any lost property left behind by guests during a stay will be held for a period of 1 month. While we will make our best efforts to reunite lost property with their owners, we accept no responsibility in replacing lost items and encourage guests to ensure they have all their belonging before checking out. We may offer to post lost items via recorded delivery at the cost of the property owner, otherwise collection can be arranged.

Aileen and Dominic Cowieson host/owner of Fir Tree B&B at Galvelbeg House, Perth Road, Crieff do not accept responsibility or liability for any injury/harm of person/s sustained during any indoor or outdoor recreational activity, during the period of their stay at these premises. All guests participate in their activities independently of their accommodation provider. Guests are politely advised to purchase appropriate and adequate insurance cover for their activity of choice, before commencing their stay.

Wi-Fi Fair & Appropriate Usage Policy
The free internet access provided is intended for general use such as access to the world wide web, email, messaging, social media, light video / music / media streaming. It is not intended or ideally suited for heavy media streaming, online gaming, extensive downloads / uploads.

Your Personal Details & Privacy
We are required to keep a register of guests over the age of 16 who stay with us, this includes full names and nationality, and/or passport numbers, place of issue, details of next destination if they are non-British, Irish or Commonwealth guests. This is in accordance with the (Immigration (Hotel records) Order 1972). These records are kept for a minimum of 12 months and in accordance with the DPA (Data Protection Act 1998) and the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
Our policy surrounding the personal details you provide as part of any booking or enquiry through this website / or third-party website, including the privacy of those details are explained and set out in our Privacy Policy which you can read here.
You accept that any entries you make to an on-site guest book, if available, will not contain personal information or details you would not want disclosed. Any entries containing personal details that may fall into the DPA and GDPR may be removed and destroyed.

Our Right to Cancellation
We reserve the right to cancel any booking without compensation, refund or reimbursement if the terms of these conditions are breached.

These terms are only applicable for reservations made directly through our own website or by phone/in person. Any reservations made through a third party (such as booking.com, Late Rooms, Trip Advisor, Visit Scotland) will adhere to the cancellation policy published on that site.
